If you're on the shorter side, they'll be baggy trousers more like in the model's photos, otherwise a lovely wide leg. The back half of the waistband is elastic, if you're in between 2 sizes maybe go with the lower as they have a bit of stretch. Side buttons don't irritate by belly when I sit down hooray!
