"I had high hopes for this dress but unfortunately it just fell short for me. The colour is a lovely dark background but the fabric is too shiny and plastic looking. Thats probably my fault for not checking the fabric composition as I normally only pick natural fibres. Everyone seems to complain that the neckline is too low, but I had the opposite problem! I went for the Size 8, I'm a 32B chest and the neckline was very conservative on me, nothing at all like the picture on the website."
Seam down the middle
"I was pretty surprised to see a seam directly down the middle of the dress’s skirt. I had to go back and look at pictures. The pictures show the dress slightly in motion so it’s hidden. I’m only keeping the dress because I love the print. I am modifying it to be a skirt so I can rotate it and have the seams in the sides."

"Loved the print and flounce on this fabric (personally I didn't have the issue with stiffness/feel that some other reviewers had), but the bust area just fit so dang weird for me. I could tug it around a bit to make it look more like the neckline on the model, but there was no way without pinning/altering the top to really get it look anywhere close to flattering on me. Seems like the cut is meant for someone with a thinner frame to make it hang right, and I'm sad that it just wasn't a good look on me."

"Incredibly disappointed in the entire garment. Fabric was cheap, looked pale and faded and was scratchy. Construction was shoddy. The bodice did not fit properly as it was improperly sewn to skirt. Would not recommend."
Q&A
- Are the sleeves of Mariposa puff sleeves Organza midi Dress stretchy (my arms are bigger than the model.) and is the waist of the dress not as tight/ forgiving? I do see a tie in the back, but I have bought dresses before where the calculation tool suggested a bit of a too tight of a dress. Currently, it’s suggesting a US 4. I am 27 years old, 4.11’ tall and I am 119-ish lb. Would you suggest me sizing up, If that the case?

The dress is of a fit and flare shape, but as there is no elastane it will no stretch, so we do advise to take measurements and compare them to the sizing on the product size chart.
