Love it and wear it a lot!

"Super cute! Just a warning though, it runs slightly smaller than the size guide because the combined sizes. Normally I can wear a medium harness, but this one I needed to size up on. Great accessory for my dresses. My only complaint is that the shoulder straps don't always want to stay in place."

Cool harness but just didnt work out

"I was really excited for this harness to arrive. I thought the look was cool w/ the brass hardware. The quality was good. Its a midrange faux leather nicely stitched up. I ultimately decided to return it because i just COULD NOT keep the straps from falling off my shoulders. Wouldve been better if they attached at the center :["

Straps keep falling

"I love how it looks and fit. I got a small which was perfect. The only downfall is that the straps keep falling which is so annoying."

Beautiful but sizing is bad

"I bought both sizes and the difference is greater than the sizing guide indicates. I have always been told i have broad shoulders and both sizes are too wide between the arm straps. I took the waist belt pieces from the m/l, put them on the s/m but still not getting a good enough fit. may deconstruct further because it’s otherwise really nice."

Very cute but the straps fall off the shoulders

"I’m 5’2” with a relatively short torso. Harness is very cute but are kinda wide on the horizontal, so the straps slide off the sides of the shoulders no matter how tight you cinch them vertically. I might be able to alter this but just be wary if you’re narrow or petite."

Its ok

"I was expecting better quality. The straps do not stay up no matter what I wear under it."

You need shoulders and no ribcage

"Let me start off by saying that this product is really good quality! I know that if it fitted me, it could definitely last me a long time! With that being said... I have purchased both S/M and M/L. The s/m (which is my usual size) was so tight even on the last notch. It was definitely digging in to me. There was no way I would be able to layer it over any item. This did not help my body dismorphia... The m/l (which should have fit better) was huge! The waist part of it fit great! I was happy with that! Until I started messing with the shoulder straps... On the tightest notch I could go they were sliding off my shoulders! You need like shoulder pads or maybe you just need to be super stalky in the shoulders. Honestly the S/M did the same thing too. They wouldn't stay up on my shoulders. The quality is super nice, smooth, faux leather, but the design is poorly executed. I suggest adding a few inches to the waist on the S/M and on both sizes the placement of the straps need to be changed. Whether you turn it into a tri strap back or you bring the straps more inward and closer to the neck to stop them from sliding off shoulders."

Horrible design

"I ordered this in a s/m and I could barely buckle it around and the shoulder straps just fell right down. I had to pay to ship it back for an exchange and now the m/l is two inches too big around on the tightest setting and the shoulder straps do not stay up at all. I wanted to like it so badly and it’s basically pointless to send it back now because I’ll have basically bought it when you add up the cost of returning it.. super disappointed. You can even tell in the pictures it’s barely staying on the models shoulders."

Q&A

I bought this recently and absolutely love it, but notice the straps keep falling down because I have narrow shoulders - any tips to stop this from happening?
Hi Jess, The Maeve Western Brass Harness has adjustable buckles placed on the shoulders which may aid the straps not falling down for you.
