"I bought these for myself and they were too long for me! I'm around five foot nine. I gave them to my bestie who is six foot five, and they fit her perfectly - so it's fair to say they definitely run large. They do look amazing on her though and it was great to see an XL actually run beyond the usual pitiful sizing."

"I'm 5'7". I went down a size from the recommended (bought a M instead of a L) and they fit well in the waist/butt area but still touch the ground when I wear a 3" heel! I don't have shoes taller than that and don't plan on getting any (trying not to dwarf my short king too severely). These pants are really cute and comfortable, but are definitely for the girls who are tall and/or wear big platforms."

"Listen, these are maybe my favorite pair of pants that I own. However, half of that is because I had to do so much sewing work to make them actually fit me that I have sweat equity in them!! I am so frustrated with Disturbia's sizing, because they tell you the model is wearing a size 8, and then the only options you have are s, m, l, XL. The size chart for these is completely off. I usually wear an L or an XL, so I got an XL thinking they would be tight. Mistake. When these came in they were so comically huge they wouldn't even stay up, they were like at least 6 in too large around the waist. I had to turn them inside out and sew several inches off the seams so that they'd actually fit. Returning them isn't an option since it costs so much in shipping! There isn't an easy way to shorten the length however, so I can only wear these with 4-in heels. And I'm 5'9."
"Looked great if they had footed any part of me but the sizing was way off. Big on the thigh, round the waist and too tall by far. I can never wear any disturbia trousers as a petite woman."
