Polished Blazer, Runs Way Large
"I really like the sleek look of this blazer. The embroidery detailing is a nice touch to add some gothic flare in my professional wardrobe while still being court appropriate for a government attorney. I got a lot of compliments from the court staff when I wore it into work. The fabric looks and feels very nice. That said, it took forever to get the right sizing. I initially got the size recommended by the algorithm and it was way too large. I returned it, waited a few weeks, lost some weight, got accurate measurements for my bust/waist/etc. , and this time the algorithm was recommending a size 8. I checked the size guide for one of my current blazers (Banana Republic), and the size guides matched so I ignored the Disturbia recommendation and went with a size 6. It was STILL too large though this time not as badly. The size 4(US) ended up being perfect - a little tight on the hip if I try to button the lower button but I don't really like having my blazers fully buttoned anyway, and it fits the waist, shoulders and bust perfectly. 5ft4, 37in bust, 29. 5in waist, 41in hip, 150lbs for reference."
