"I love my checkmate trousers I’ve had them for years, worn them consistently and they’ve lasted really well. They definitely fit true to size in the waist but I’m 5ft 9 and they come up just my leg and sit just slightly above a standard doc marten style boot so they’re a little short. I’m personally still giving them 5 stars because I do really like that look"
"I've always wanted pants like this! These are very nice, the fabric is soft and comfortable and not itchy. It looks and fits exactly like the picture. One issue I had was that I initially bought a size 6 as I'm a size 6 in every other bottoms I wear, but when they arrived they were super tight around the waist. I should have checked the size guide more thoroughly but I didn't think it'd be an issue considering my usual sizing. The plus is I sent them back and exchanged for a size 8 on the same day I received them and and had no issues with this. My exchange was processed the next day and I received the size 8 a day after that, so it was super quick and not fussy! The size 8 fit me perfectly and are very comfortable. Just a heads up that these pants seem to run smaller than most stores! :)"
"These trousers are designed so wonderfully, they exude class yet they are able to make you stand out. Nothing boring about them. The fit is perfect, I found they ran just a tad bit smaller than other trousers from here, but not a terribly big difference. The little details are perfect like the plaid fabric inset on the pocket. I get so many compliments, I even had someone ask to take a picture. The fabric and quality craftsmanship are spot on as with all the clothing from here. And I’ve bought a lot. It’s becoming a slight obsession. If you’re on the fence about buying them just do it."
"Ugh I love these pants so much, but it just about broke my heart when I realized (after purchase) the back pockets are big ol FAKES! It’s honestly such a shame, for $80 I want all 4 pockets. I’m still keeping them because I look good in them, so it is what it is."
