"I bought this belt thinking it would look like the picture when on but it didnt. The large panel did not cross over and left a huge gap when the narrow belt was fastened. This did not look right. Customer services were great and replaced it in case it was a sizing error but it was exactly the same. So if you are on the XL sizing range, like me, please consider whether you want the wide band crossing or not. Beautiful all the same and such a shame."
"The size I normally get for belts was too small. The size up was way too big. I had to buy a belt hole punch and add extra holes. But the style is gorgeous. It is a little squeaky when you move sometimes."
"I sent this back as it’s flawed at the larger size. The wider back piece isn’t able to fully close as shown in the photo. They made the skinny part of the belt longer for the larger size but didn’t bother making anything else longer. It’s a shame because the clasp is gorgeous. The return was easy and fast."
"The belt is super pretty, I love the buckle. But the sizing is strange. I ordered both M/L and L/XL due to the other reviews. Though I should have fitted just fine to M/L according to the measurements, the wider belt wouldn't overlap at all (it's only 79. 5cm long). The wider belt in L/XL is 90cm long, so that one overlaps for me to look more like the picture, but the length doesn't match the holes in the thinner belt at all. Even on the tightest hole, there's a massive gap in the wider belt which gives it totally different look. I'll keep the bigger one and shorten the thin belt because I love how it looks, but it's a shame that there isn't at least more specific info on the lengths of the belts."
"I love this belt, the only problem is that if you want it to cross over like it does in the picture you need to size up. I’m in Australia so returns is too much effort on my end, I got a M/L as per sizing, and it just meets luckily. I’m size 12/14 depending, but definitely would have sized up if I knew about the issue earlier. Otherwise, it’s a really pretty belt and I get compliments when I wear it."
"The belt is cute, but I agree with another comment about the strange sizing that needs to be fixed. My waist is 32”, ordered both M/L according to size chart, but the wider part did not overlap in my waist. Returned it and ordered the L/XL, which does overlap but the length doesn't match the holes in the thinner belt. I had to poke a hole in the thinner belt to get it to the right length and then the thin belt sticks out too long as shown in my photo. Not recommended."
"I have a wide ribcage but normally wear a M/L in Disturbia belts. The L/XL was still too small for me. While I could do it up, it left a large gap in the middle so it didn’t look like the picture at all. I’d only purchase if it is able to cross over like the picture as the gap was unflattering"
"It’s a lovely belt, but the sizing is WAY off. Bought it in the L/XL but feel like it might be mislabeled, fits like a s/m. But loved it for the hardware - may try to DIY and make it into a new belt. This a definite hit for looks if it fits and miss for poor sizing control."
"I have the Cypress Paisley Debossed Buckled Waist Belt in size L/XL which fits perfectly with the panels overlapping so I thought this would too. Unfortunately, this was not the case. So if you are on the plus-size side like me, you will find the wide piece that should overlap is too short. However, if you don't mind the gap between panels it is still a beautiful, wearable belt."
"Cool belt! Contrary to some reviews, I don't mind that the ends don't completely overlap. I bought a S/M and it looks exactly the same on me as in the photo of the Nephra Tie Waist Midi Shirt Dress (a little open in the middle, but that actually makes the beautiful buckle stand out). The only major downside, in my opinion, is that after fastening the belt just three times, the black outer layer has already come loose and blue plastic is visible at the buckle. Probably because the pointed shape of the buckle is so sharp that it damages the material and you can't prevent it from constantly brushing against it. I suspect I will only be able to wear the belt a few times before it falls to shreds. It's a shame, because otherwise I am very happy with it!"
