The embroidery sits on the side, not the front.

"I'm deducting a star because the model is actually wearing the hat sideways and not how it was shaped to be worn. The way the crown is shaped, it's uncomfortable to wear it how it's being worn by the model (it's oval/oblong and not a round circle). The embroidery actually goes on the right side of the hat and this will make the hat more comfortable to wear based on how it was shaped as well as it putting the hat tag and adjuster ribbon in the back (which is where those should go). I am disappointed about that deception as I thought it was meant to be worn the way she models it and the embroidery does look cute in the front, rather than on the side. I do feel a bit deceived about that, but overall, the hat is very cute."

Pics are a bit deceiving

"The design can't be worn in the front like the picture because of the shape of the hat and the hat band. The design has to go on the side of the hat otherwise your head doesn't go in it correctly. The pics also make it look like the embroidery is on the underside as well and it's the embroidery from the top showing through."

Not meant to be worn as shown

"The embroidery on this hat is meant to be worn to the side, not along the front as the picture shows. It's awkward to wear it as shown because the hat band tie will be right in the front which looks weird. Also, the underside of the brim is not fully embroidered. The model picture makes it look as if the underside is as fully detailed as the top, but it is definitely patchy at best on the underside. I was also disappointed in the overall size of the hat. I thought it would be much larger but it's about 15%smaller than the picture makes it look. (I think the model is tiny). Also it was shipped in a paper envelope (that was half way torn open by the time I received it) with no protection so it was smashed and misshapen when it got here. I can't reshape it in such a way that it doesn't look weird. Glad I got it on sale. Still debating returning it. The embroidery is beautiful on the top, which is the only reason I may keep it"
