"I am, unfortunately, not the target audience for this piece as a plus sized person. I am just at the edge of not fitting most of the things in shop. However, I was able to make this dress work by loosening the ribbon at the back, making it a waist belt instead. The fabric is flowy and comfortable. The print is everything I dreamed with sirens, krakens, and hydras (leviathans?)- truly love this piece"

"This dress is absolutely perfect. Fits great, good quality, gorgeous print. However, one item in my order was canceled about 2 days before it would have arrived. I’d assumed it was lumped in with the other 3 items in my order since they were placed within 18 hours of each other and I was fully charged. The canceled item was a pair of New Rock Korea boots. I wanted those boots way more that I wanted the other stuff I ordered. Here’s why they were so important to me. My family is having a Fatjer’s Day get together on June 21. This same day I will be going on the first date I’ve been on since 2019. I was catastrophically injured in mid 2020, 5 years went by before I could have 2 life changing surgeries. After months of physical therapy and relearning how to walk correctly, after years of debilitating physical and emotional pain, extreme weight gain, and finally getting on the road to a normal life, I started wearing clothing other than a giant t shirt and leggings, shoes other than hokas and walking unassisted. As my body recovered, so did my emotional state and confidence. As I became healthier and slowly began losing the nearly 75 pounds I put on after suddenly becoming sedentary, I ventured back out into the social world. I realize this may sound petty and childish. I guess I don’t care. This day was so carefully planned. I had two different outfits for each event that will take place tomorrow. One involves this lovely dress, the other was centered around the boots that were suddenly canceled due to “an inventory error” on the part of the company. This gave me a couple of days to figure out the right footwear for the specific activity we will be doing and it isn’t enough time. I live in a fairly small town in deep east Texas, we have no alt or stylish shops in town that offer edgy yet functional items. Also, these boots were made specifically for the Disturbia company as i understand it. So, that’s why I can’t give my experience a higher rating. If asked about the items I ordered only, I’d happily give 5 stars. The dress runs ever so slightly small."
