Disappointed in the fit

"I’m short and petite and wear a solid UK8/US4 in pretty much everything I get from Disturbia. This dress was not great on my body type. Usually I’m a big fan of the raglan cut because I have narrow shoulders and a larger bust, but this dress was really bulky and wide in the armpit areas and just ended up looking frumpy. I found the stringy bits to be a bit longer than expected as well. The bottom ones hung a lot further down than the rest and fell below my elbows. The body size seemed to be ok around my hips and waist, but the top just looked all wrong. It was also quite a but longer than I was expecting on me. It hit just above my knee instead of mid/upper thighs. I did really like the 100% cotton material. I ended up sending this one back. For such an expensive dress it did not look very good on me. I think this would be better suited for a taller broader shoulder/chested person."
