Rootweave Embroidered Shirred Side Midi Dress

"Very cute cut and pattern. Material is light weight but easily krinkled. Very good for the warmer weather"

— Laura W. (4/5)

I have returned it

"I have purchased two different sizes and neither of them fit me. It’s either too large or the top creases weirdly around the embroidery, making it look frumpy and cheap. Price doesn’t reflect what you get."

— Varnyte (2/5)

Not in love

"I like this in theory - subtle embroidery design, some stretch for comfort, good materials, pockets, and everything covered to make it a nice summery work dress. Unfortunately I feel like the torso is just a bit short for me, even after sizing up (not an issue I usually face). The waist sits well right as I put it on, but after moving around it then seems to rise and ends up much more empire waist than I would prefer. I also feel like the length is a tad awkward on me, again not something I usually find as I'm a pretty average height. Hopefully I'll be able to layer this and like it more in autumn or winter. Might be a dress that will work best for those with less curves. I had an issue with my order originally and customer service was amazing, so 10/10 for that!"

Great material but small fit

"The material is very smooth and soft but it is too small for a Large, especially in the shoulders/bust which I don't usually have an issue with... I will have to return it for an XL."

— Μελίτα Π. (3/5)

Loved this dress

"I ordered this dress and then had some concerns as I saw 2 reviews about fit - one mentioned the neckline fitting oddly and one mentioned sizing. When I received this dress, I was worried prior to trying it on. But I love it - the fit was perfect and it looked fabulous. I wore it to work and had numerous compliments. And - Pockets!! 🥰"

Such a pretty dress. Super

"Such a pretty dress. Super comfy, soft material, so versitile"

— Bryndahl C. (5/5)

Loving it

"The shirring does exactly what I'd hoped and keeps everything snug to my curves without any weird gaps or loose darts. This is my new favourite dress!"

— Lou L. (5/5)

Perfect work dress

"Exactly what i was looking for. Great length on me too at 5ft 3"

— Kayleigh W. (5/5)

Cute, runs small with some design issues

"Very pretty, I wanted to love this but the fit is a bit awkward and it runs small. I'm most often an 8 in Disturbia dresses, and I ordered both an 8 and 10 - the 8 was tiny, and the 10 fit in the skirt, but was tight across the bust, even though I belong to the IBTC. The neckline also sits high and put pressure on my throat. This lightweight fabric and stitching are so great, but as far as comfort, it wasn't a win for me."

— Goldess (3/5)

Runs small

"My usual US size 4 was much too tight in the bodice. Had to exchange for the US6. On the 6 the embroidery on the front near the bottom I guess was also stitched too tight so it causes a ripple at the bottom of the bodice which makes it look like a belly roll. I'll try a warm iron on it to see if that could fix it."
