Dream Dress!

"I absolutely love this dress, the style, the embroidery, all the details - its a stunner! The fabric is on the heavier side, with a linen-like feel, which makes is versatile for all seasons, while staying breathable. I am most often an 8 in Disturbia dresses, I ordered an 8 and a 10, while they both fit, I went with the 10 because the 8 felt a tad tight on my bust (even though I'm small chested) due to tailoring detail sitting a bit high, so if you're larger chested, you might need to size up. The tieback waist also allows for a little adjustment with the fit. Lovely find, highly recommended."

Beautiful Dress, Bust Runs SMALL

"★★★★★☆ (4/5) This dress is absolutely gorgeous. The black fabric feels high quality, the flytrap embroidery is beautiful, and the overall construction is lovely. I was genuinely disappointed that I couldn’t make it work because I wanted to keep it so badly. For reference, I’m 5’4”, 140 lbs, and usually wear somewhere between a US 6 and 8 and 38DD. I ordered both sizes after carefully checking the size chart. Both fit beautifully everywhere except the bust. The fabric has virtually no stretch, and I couldn’t fasten the top two buttons on either size—even without wearing a bra. I’m on the bustier side, but I’ve never had this issue with US dress sizing before. Unfortunately, I ended up returning both sizes. This was my first dress from Disturbia, and while I still love the brand’s aesthetic, the experience has made me a little hesitant to order dresses in the future. Between paying for return shipping and the additional exchange/restocking costs, it became an expensive process just to discover the sizing wasn’t right for my body. I would love to see Disturbia revisit the bust measurements on some of their dresses or consider offering optional shipping protection that covers free returns and exchanges, similar to many US retailers. I think it would make shopping online much less stressful. If your proportions are similar to mine and you have a fuller bust, I’d recommend paying especially close attention to the bust measurements before ordering. Despite my sizing issues, I still think it’s a beautiful dress and would absolutely recommend it to someone whose measurements align better with the fit."
