Lamya Check Tailored Straight Leg Suspender Trouser

Love, love LOVE - and so did everyone else!

"I bought these trousers specifically for the Distinguished Gentleman Ride 2026 (group motorbike ride held annually, worldwide). I'm 5'4", usually a 6-8, and the size 8 leg hems sat just on the top of my feet. The legs are ever so slightly tapered, as shown in the product photo - and the top part is the perfect length and tailored waist fit. The fabric is lovely quality - light yet also substantial enough for me not to freeze to death setting out on the back of a motorbike in 12 degs on an early Sunday morning! Good quality finishing. Overall I'm delighted - these were just what I wanted for this event. Thank you!"

Finally a style that fits short legs

"I love these. Having short legs means dungarees always look ridiculous on me. I paired this with the white ruffle Disturbia shirt for an interview recently and had so many flattering comments. I did add a concealed popper to the top fastening as it gapped a bit. This worked really well. Great fabric and easy to adjust the waist. I'm between a 10 and 12 and the 10 fitted."

Beautiful but just not for me

"The colour of the check is lovely, the material is beautiful but these high waisted trousers were just a bit small for me. Perhaps because there’s no stretch. Reluctantly returned."

Lovely piece, button needs sewing on better

"Adore this item - feels and looks amazing. However, the top button popped off the first time I wore it - these types of buttons are sadly never sewn on properly. I've now reinforced all of them! I'm a size 18, and the 18 is true to size. I'm 5ft7, and the leg length is about ankle grazer."

Size alert

"I bought the Lamya trousers in size M. I usually wear size M in trousers and size S in dresses and tops. I also own two other Disturbia trousers — one in size S and one in size M. For the Lamya trousers, I think a size S would have fitted me better because the fabric is quite stretchy and forgiving. However, for example, Disturbia’s corporate-style trousers fit differently, and my size M pair would actually fit better if they were a size L. Because of that, I’d recommend choosing your usual dress size for the Lamya trousers rather than your usual trouser size. Otherwise, they are very comfortable."

Looks great but in between sizes

"Looks great but normally I'm a 14, in this case I had to swap for a 12 as the torso area was too long and left a baggy look to the groin area. I can JUST squeeze into a 12 but sometimes the top buttons pop open as they're proper tight. This makes it maybe a bit too uncomfortable for everday use in my specific case but it looks soooo good! I do love that it has pockets too"

Cute alt office look

"I was really exited for this pair of pants and they have ticked most boxes! I am 5ft2 and the length is perfect. The style is great and it has functioning (front) pockets. What could be improved is that the straps should be adjustable (on top of the waist). Also the crotch sits a bit low - but I have a fairly short torso. All in all, a very comfortable and cool looking piece and I do recommend!"
