"This is a lightweight fabric which surprised me as I own all the Nightingale Skirts. It will work with layers and you could easily wear leggings underneath it and no one see. The fastenings hide a discrete 2 button fly, there’s no sneaky elastic like there is with the nightingale skirts either. Pairs nicely with plum and the Disturbia pointelle tops."
"This is just gorgeous ! I'm 5'8" and the length is just perfect - as seen on the model actually, I'm just under 10stone- but have hips! 🙈 so got the medium and it sits perfectly 👌. I do wish it was a little thicker - heavier for the autumn weather, but I guess thick tights under will suffice - if you're debating buying this, stop it ! Get it in your basket !"
"To start - the skirt is beautiful. The cadet blue with mahogany red (brown?). I put it with a maroon/burgundy vest/tank and a cover shirt and wore it comfortable in 90 degree Fahrenheit heat. It had beautiful weight and flow. It’s a thin enough to be cool, weighty enough to be warm with tights underneath for winter. The hardware is substantially weighted and looks awesome. It fits true to size measurement. I bought a 14us and it fit looser than I expected but I’ve lost weight and still tend to shop thinking I’m bigger than I am. A 16 would have been close to falling off. Length is about what’s shown on model, it was an above ankle but not midcalf, I’m 5’9”. Highly recommend this beautiful skirt for its multi function/styling capabilities and its overall beauty. Love the pleated laid skirts from Disturbia, you can’t go wrong with them."
