Love it- great for an apple shape figure

"I find not enough people include stats in their reviews so here are mine: 38" bust (12DD), 32"waist, 39" hips, apple shape and 5' 6" tall. This dress has a high waist and slightly flared skirt so it's perfect for short torsos and apple shapes. The material is reasonably thick and the pattern is just gorgeous. I bought a UK 12, then panicked and bought a UK14 in case I made the wrong size choice (it's my first Disturbia purchase so I'm flying blind with sizes lol). The 12 fits great. The vest sits exactly the way it does on the model (so it doesn't close and you use the ties to keep it together). I don't mind that I have a UK14 on the way though because having the vest close completely is a good option to have. These styles of dresses are just perfect for my body type and I hope they make more dresses with this cut."

"I’m obsessed with this dress. The fabric feels great, fits me perfectly, love the little front ties, THE POCKETS, the double slits go so hard, and the length is great! I read some tricky things about the zipper, it catches a little, but I’m just extra careful. If it ever gave out, I’d pay the money to replace the zipper no question, because it’s that perfect."

"Two of the ties on the front were already dangling by a thread and two more just snapped off when tied. The material has a very strange cheep plastic like velvet that isn’t very believable. The shape was nice but I’m likely not going to wear this anytime soon till I can get the ties fixed."

Beautiful, best dress from disturbia

"This dress is just stunning, if you're thinking of buying it but not sure I would just go for it. I bought it on the sale and I'm seriously so happy. I wasn't sure about the style but it's really flattering. I have a small waist but big boots, bit of a tummy and big hips. This dress really is really flattering for my shape and I feel stunning in it. Some other reviews mentioned poor quality but I didn't find any issues with mine. I bought a 12, I'm somewhere in the middle of 10/12, 12 is perfect as it's roomy and doesn't feel too tight."

Beautiful dress, faulty front ties

"Gorgeous dress and very comfortable but the ribons on the front seem to be made of a weak material. Within an hour of first wearing it one tie had frayed and snapped and a secodn tie came off in hand when attempting to tie it. I would suggest checking the coniditon of the ribbons before wearing it out. It is an easy fix by folding the ribbon over and re-sewing it with a thicker base."

"I really like the dress, unfortunately one of the things that tie up at the front is literally hanging on by a thread and I’ve only had the dress on for an hour. I’m not going to bother returning it because I can probably just sew it back on myself. Bit disappointed as I was using it for a baby photo shoot and now I need to take it off"
